Okay, it’s been a rough day, it’s been rough week, Heck it’s been a rough year. Are you stressed out and can’t sleep? It just so happens there’s a number conditions that can be improved by having sex regularly. Here are a dozen reasons why you and your significant other should be having sex as often as you can!
- REDUCES STRESS.
It’s been a long day, or a long couple of days, or maybe you’re just feeling overwhelmed. If so, guess what is one of the few things that will help you relax and reduce your stress at the same time? During sex your body produces dopamine, endorphins, and oxytocin. Those three things in combination lower your stress response levels. Sex also increases your natural feeling of happiness, actually enhancing your desire for human contact.
- GOOD EXERCISE.
Lots of people panic when they hear the word ‘workout’. Guess what, that workout can doesn’t just have to be at the gym. During the whole experience our bodies experience physiological changes that are consistent with a ‘workout’. Think about it, your breathing rate goes up! That increase alone can represent running two tenths of a mile each time you have sex. Studies have shown that sex is a really great form of exercise, and like with any exercise, consistency helps maximize the benefits. Go figure.
- YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM.
A study in Pennsylvania indicated the participants who made love twice a week had higher levels of antibodies those who didn’t. Come to find out that during sex, antigens are release at higher levels the normal. The really great news is, the more frequently you engage in sex the more antigens will be released. These antigens have been linked to fighting the common cold as well as flu, so the more sex you have, the healthier you get!
- KEEPS BLOOD PRESSURE LOW.
Physical contact has been shown to improve your blood pressure, so even if it’s just a quickie, studies have indicate that intercourse reduces the bottom of number on a blood pressure reading. If you can reduce your diastolic blood pressure you will be healthier all around.
- HELPS A HEALTHY HEART.
When you burn calories to improve your health and studies have shown that man for nearly 50% less likely to suffer cardiovascular diseases when they have regular love making.
- SEX HELPS WITH PAIN RELIEF.
Studies have shown the patients who had sex often experience significantly less pain then their counterparts who went without. So if you’re experiencing aches and pains, or even migraines sometime sex is better than pills.
- ENSURES REGULAR PERIODS.
Studies have shown it your periods are erratic it may be due to a stressful lifestyles. As I mentioned earlier sex reduces stress resulting in an impact on your menstrual cycle.
- BUILDS STRONGER PELVIC MUSCLES.
The National Health Service(NHS) says that studies indicate goodbye having stronger pelvic muscles you also benefit for better orgasms. So besides your quads, Back, and core muscles… Sex also works that your pelvic muscles. They go further to say:
‘For women, as well as helping improve symptoms of urinary incontinence, strong pelvic floor muscles can also mean increased sensitivity during sex and stronger orgasms,’ the NHS states. ‘Pelvic floor exercises can also benefit men with problems such as erectile dysfunction (difficulty getting or keeping an erection) and urinary incontinence’.

Regular sex, in more than once study, has been found to help reduce cancer in men. In particular, men who have regular sex are much less likely to suffer prostate cancer
- HELPS YOU SLEEP WELL.
Sex makes your heart rate go up, which like any other exercise, leads to relaxation. Many people report being extremely sleepy after sex. Psychiatrists generally agree and after orgasms the hormone prolactin is released. Is that prolactin that Is responsible those feelings of relaxation and sleepiness after sex.
- SEX MAKES YOU LOOK YOUNGER.
Neurophysiologists in Scotland have discovered that making love three times a week can make you look 10 years younger than your real age. How much more incentive you need?
- LENGTHENS YOUR LIFE.
The British Medical Journal stated that male participants who had sex regularly lived twice as long as those who rarely had sex. So I guess you could consider living twice as long a terrific, positive, and desirable effect having sex. Since there’s, no downside to having sex regularly…
